The Martian President sent you a mission. Click its picture to hear it.
Task:
"Fellow martian, we found a planet called Earth and wish to study its citizens. Your mission, if you choose to accept it, is to build a habitat that can sustain human life."
Process:
The Martian President is tired of observing humans from far away! Instead, it would like you to design a habitat that will let a human live on Mars.
Everyone will be put into a group of 5 martians. As a team, you must work together to research and observe humans. Then you will design a human habitat using your notes. Finally, you will present your information to the President to help him decide if it should be built.
You have 4 days to complete your mission. Please organize yourself into one of these roles to save time:
- Recorder – writes notes
- Artist – draws the habitat
- Timekeeper & Gofer – keeps time, gathers the materials
- Speaker – everyone must speak, but this is someone to who will guide the final presentation and help decide what to say
- Technician – guides computer and technology tasks
Each day, we will send you new instructions to guide you.
At the end of the mission, the team who creates the best habitat will be crowned “Super Martians” and rewarded for their hard work.

If you are ready, go to Day 1. Good luck.
